  • ​Ornithological study of already operating wind farm with the following characteristics:
  • Total Power: 7,65 MW
  • 9 Wind Turbines, 850kW each
  • The wind farm is not located within Natura 2000 network or other protected areas
  • Assessment of environmental impacts on avifauna based on additional and updated data collected during the operation of the wind farm in accordance with the ministry’s guidelines
  • Evaluation of the area’s ornithological value, extensive research of bibliography and fieldwork data
  • GIS processing of data collected (observation from vantage points and areas of frequent bird use)
  • Assessment of Wind Farm’s impacts on birds due to disturbance leading to displacement or exclusion, barriers to movement, collision mortality and loss of, or damage to, habitat resulting from wind turbines and associated infrastructure
  • Proposal of measure aimed towards the mitigation and minimization of negative impacts on birds
  • Mapping of the wind farm and in depth analysis of natural environment data
  • Rich photographic material illustrating the wind farm surrounding area and the avifauna habitat  consisting primarily of phrygana
