• Evaluation of the environmental nuisances arising during the construction phase
• Evaluation of the differentiations brought upon the environmental media during the operation phase
• Examination of the possibility to remove the pipe from the “Latomio” settlement
• Submission of study on the “Hazards and Operability of the Project”

Important environmental issues:

• Presence of structural zone and erosion zone              
• Non removal of pipe from the borders of the settlement
• Differentiation in the mechanical characteristics of the soil in the work zone during the construction phase due to the compression inflicted by the vehicle and constructive machines traffic
• Differentiation of the existing land uses in the pipe occupation area
