PROJECT: Strengthening Integrated Biodiversity Management
ASSIGNMENT TITLE: Sustainable Protected Area revenue source Study

The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Integrated Biodiversity Management, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. sustainable Protected Areas (PA) revenue source study and propose at least three (3) options to be tested in the two pilot sites (Kiang West National Park and Tanji Bird Reserve. The study also needs to propose a revenue sharing mechanism in percentage among various stakeholders (local communities, the Department of Parks and Central Government). The assignment is estimated to last for (90 days) including fieldwork.
The Department Of Parks & Wild Life Management now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among others,etc.).
